Real-time edge computing software processes this data to predict mechanical wear, schedule preventive maintenance before breakdowns occur, and optimize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Furthermore, as global brand owners transition to eco-friendly, mono-material, and paper-based recyclable films, machine builders are redesigning sealing heating profiles and film transport mechanisms. Recyclable substrates often have narrower sealing temperature windows and different tensile elasticity compared to traditional multi-layer plastics, requiring intelligent, highly sensitive thermal controls to guarantee package integrity without melting the film.
