Texans restructure LB Azeez Al-Shaairs contract, clear $6.26 million in cap space
The Texans continue to make moves to clear cap space as the clock ticks down on the 2024 league Friday morning, the Texans restructured the contract of linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair which has freed up $6.26 million in salary cap space, per NFL inside Aaron Wilson. He added 12 more tackles during the teams two playoff games against the Chargers and to joining the Texans, Al-Shaair played one season for the Seahawksafter spending his first four years in the NFL with the 49ers.
